Beauty: Dream Dots For Spots Review!

Hi Beauties!!

I am finally here with my DreamDotsForSpots review. I know this is late as I promised to do this a few days ago and the only thing I can put it down to not been up is purely being so disorganized. I was away for a week in Manchester and had to go straight back to work as soon as I got back and today is the first day that my life is getting a little more organized!! Anyway my whole Manchester trip will be documented in the next coming posts! 

 Moving on to the wonderful Dream Dots. Firstly they are amazing. I have quite dry sensitive skin and for years I would not get spots. I would get eczema. But lately that has changed. Well I still get eczema but now I get spots too. I think it is because I have been very busy working throughout the summer and staying up late, wearing heavy make up, traveling and then working out in the Gym. And yes I do wear a full face of make up when working out - it makes me feel better about myself! :)

Dream dots are tiny little round stickers which you stick on to your spot or blemish. They come in a pack of 24. The stickers are stuck to paper which you can tear off in little squares so it would be prefect to bring when travelling you won't need to bring the whole box with you. The center of the dream dot is raised. This is how it projects the blemish and removes all impurities. You stick the dream dot over the blemish after cleaning the area, you then leave it on over night and take it off in the morning.Voila! Depending on how bad your blemish is depends on how many nights you will need to wear the dream dots but definitely over night you will see a big difference. I had a spot on my forehead it was big, sore very noticeable and had a head on it. I was so tempted to pick it but as we all know it would have only made it worse. So I cleansed my face and did my whole night time routine and after my moisturizer soaked in I applied the dream dot. The next morning the disgusting yellow head was gone, it wasn't sore and the swelling had gone down! I was amazed! I the applied the dream dot the next night and when i work up the following morning all I had was a tiny pink dot!!! 

 

The above photo is what my skin looked like after the third day of using dream dot. My sister is 12 and has had a few breakouts so I give her dream dots and her skin is flawless as a result. She doesn't have one scar after using them and she didn't have any reaction. That's another reason why I love dream dots is because it concentrates on one specific area. Having dry sensitive skin i couldn't use products for spots as most of the would dry you skin on as they are many aimed at people with and oily skin type! I would recommend DreamDots to any age male or female, they are amazing and they work. I am so happy I found them and I will always be stocked up!

My Green Juice Recipe!

This morning I posted the above picture of a green juice that I made as a mid day snack. I haven't been as healthy as I would like to be lately and am feeling a little run down. So I decided to make a super healthy green juice. It really gave be the burst of energy I needed. It tasted amazing, but to be honest I am used to drinking these kinds of juices so for someone to try them first time they might not agree but believe me you will get used to the taste...promise! And you will love them too. After a juice you feel clean, healthy and bursting with energy! 

Juices are so good because the nutrients go straight into your bloodstream to fill your cells with goodness, while the fiber is powerful in sweeping toxins out of your body. I choose spinach and celery because it boosts the immune system and promotes healthy glowing skin. 

I also used cucumber, ginger, lemon and pineapple as these fruits and veggies are rich in vitamins and antioxidants, I made this juice using the Nutribullet!

Ingredients:

Fill 50% of the Nutribullet container with Spinach leaves (washed) 

1 stalk of Celery chopped and washed

A few chunks of Cucumber

!/2 a Lemon (peeled)

1 inch peeled Ginger Punkin

A few chunks of Pineapple 

Water up to the max line

Ice (optional) 

I decorated the top of this juice with Raspberries, Punkin seeds and milled Flax seeds.

Showbiz: Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes Baby name revealed!

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling welcome a Baby Girl!!!

First of the the couple need to be congratulated on the birth of their baby girl who was reported to have been born on Friday. The baby is the first born child of the couple and according to TMZ Mendes and Gosling are naming their newborn Esmerealda Amada Gosling - Beautiful! 

I bet the baby will be so cute and I can't wait to see a picture of her!!

Bath & Body: Ted Baker Opulent Orchid Bath Set Review!

Hi beauties!

So last night I tried out the Ted Baker range of bath and body products for the first time. I have wanted to try these products for a while because I absolutely love the Ted Baker brand, I think he is an amazing designer...

First of all the packaging of the products are to die for. Its so pretty and girly. I would nearly buy another set just to use as decoration in my bathroom, (do you know what I just might). That's how much I love them.

The set comes in a see through and baby pink make up bag which is perfect for travelling. Four products come in this set, there is a body wash, body souffle, body spray and hand cream. All four products smell amazing. The first product I used was the which is clear in colour and smells divine. The body wash can be used in the bath or shower and it lathers up in a sponge. I then used the body souffle which is rich and creamy and very moisturizing. It is sweet smelling blended with rose, sandelwood and a dash of vanilla.

And then as if you haven't been pampered enough you get to indulge in a sweet smelling hand cream with a twist of raspberry. Such a treat. When I woke up the next morning I smelt beautiful (if I do say so myself!) :p My skin felt silky and moisturized another plus! After I finished getting dressed I sprayed the body spray on my clothes. The scent smelt like the body souffle and it lasted all day.

Beauty: NYX Butter Gloss Review!!

Hi guys!

So recently NYX Cosmetics came to Stauntonspharmacy Castlebar. I was absolutely delighted because I have seen many beauty gurus using the brand in YouTube videos and I was dying to get my hands on them to try them out myself. 

So off I go into town on my lunch break, to see what the stand had to offer. I hadn't decided what I wanted to buy from the range I just knew I wanted something. I didn't have much time to spare so I could only get a quick glimpse of the make up stand. The product that stood out the most to me was the butter glosses - there was so many colours to choose from and they were suitable for day and night. The colour I choose was 'Apple Strudel' as soon as I got back to work I tried it on and fell in love...

I loved it so much I went back that evening and bought two more shades 'Peaches & Cream' and 'Strawberry Parfait'.  The glosses are super hydrating and feel lovely and creamy on your lips. They smell and taste great and aren't the slightest way sticky. I have very sensitive dry lips so I sometimes find it hard to get glosses to suit me. But these did not irritate my lips at all. They are very affordable and I think there is a colour to suit everyone.If you are any way like me who loves your lips feeling moisturized and silky smooth then you will love them too. The colour featured in the picture below is 'Apple Strudel' - I love it!

Welcome to my blog, I have wanted to start a blog for such a long time because I love them and read them all the time. 

I am a real girly girl who works within the beauty industry and I absolutely love it. I love the variety  and how no day is the same. Even though I am so girly I am not afraid to sweat it out in the Gym - I'm a gymbunny! I think the harder the exercise the better and find it so satisfying when I work through a really hard workout without giving up. No pain, no gain! 

At the moment I am also studying nutrition and I'm really enjoying it. Health and fitness is a real passion of mine and I want to continue studying and learning as much as I can and maybe one day work within the industry! 

Another love of mine is fashion, I am a shopaholic and sometimes find it impossible to leave a shop without buying something...
